I am looking to speak with an experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist situated in the Manchester area from either a consultancy or a site investigation contractor background with an ambition to develop bothGeotechnical and Geo-Environmental technical skillset delivering residential, commercial, industrial and retail developments from inception through to completion.

My client is a well respected SME multi-disciplinary Consultancy with a presence across Yorkshire and an excellent client base giving you a wide range of experience. The role will be 50/50 split, continuing your experience managing sites as well as in theoffice organising, managing and delivering technical reports across a Geo-Environmental & Geotechnical Engineering.

This Geo-Environmental Engineer position will look to excel your development on the following: Phase 1, design/management/delivery of Phase 2 investigations, interpretative reporting (combined), development of remedial strategies, generic and quantitativerisk assessments for human health and validation reports. This role also offers the chance to develop your Geotechnical capabilities in foundations, slopes, calculations and assessments, working closely with the civil and structural teams.

To proceed as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, it will be expected that you have the following:

- 1st degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/geoenvironmental engineering or related geo-science.
- At least 1 year experience within the UK completing 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples & site monitoring.
- Experience working with different types of rigs.
- Ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis (ideally).
- Understand the process of delivering a Geo-Environmental or Geotechnical projects through site investigation stages.
- Have a full UK driving license.
