**Job Summary**:
My client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy with offices across the UK. They are now looking for a **Geo-Environmental Engineer** to join their expanding team, due to increased workload You will be joining a dynamic workplace who has **won numerous awards for championing employee wellbeing**and being listed as a top place to work. **Requirements**:
You must have **2+ years of UK Geo-Environmental consultancy** experience to be suited to this role. Please find below some of the tasks you will be carrying out.

**What YOU need**:

- Good working knowledge of relevant and up to date British Standards Industry Guidance
- Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and independent thinker with an enthusiastic approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Management of ground investigations and logging soils to British standards
- Supervision, reporting and management of geo-environmental assignments.
- Monitoring of gas and groundwater levels and groundwater sampling.
- Liaison with and directing of sub-contractors including drillers, excavator operators and surveyors.
- Dealing with clients to assist in the delivery of projects.
- Writing factual and interpretive reports, risk assessments, remediation strategies and verification reports.
