About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a communications and content advisor to work in our dedicated team, explaining our services to residents and stakeholders and promoting our area as an excellent place to live, work or visit.

This position would suit someone keen to take the next step in their communications career - who has already mastered skills including social media, media relations, marketing, campaigns and events and can demonstrate success - but wants to move this to the next level.

You will support a wide portfolio of communications and marketing activity, working with council services on targeted communications using a variety of digital and traditional media channels. You will also be handling media enquiries on a rolling newsdesk rota.
