**The Role...**
The role of the Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator is to ensure high quality training is delivered to Apprenticeship learners and robust assessments are conducted by the assessors and trainers, which provides informative feedback against the relevant standards and qualifications for which they are occupationally competent.
The Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator will ensure this by working with the Quality Co-Ordinator to gain information from observations and sampling feedback but also by triangulating this information with evidence from monitoring reports and feedback from learners and employers. The same process will be conducted for the Assessor. The Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator will manage the progress of learning and co-ordinate scheduling of work.
This role offers hybrid working, with the opportunity to work 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
Occasional travel will also be required to our training centres in Bury (Manchester) and Pulborough (West Sussex).
**Key Responsibilities...**
- Achieve overall and timely success rates to meet business targets.
- Achieve grade 2 or above in observations and monitoring or be working towards this consistently, with sufficient progress being made.
- Submit CPD logs monthly to IQA dept in a timely manner.
- All KPIs as laid down in the Board Report/QIP are achieved or sufficient progress is being made.
- Monitor learner progression and react to deviances in a timely manner.
- Monitor learner paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Consult with EPAO’s around booking and completion of End Point Assessments.
- Deal with any apprenticeship complaints and employer updates when relevant in a timely manner.
- Update curriculums/ILPs as is required to ensure that PQMS are adhering to Ofsted requirements.
- Be available for Ofsted visits and stand in as nominee should the need arise.
- Chair the monthly Apprenticeship Meeting
- Gather and analyse data to inform decisions, establishing basic trends and patterns in data and update management reports as appropriate.
- Ensure that safeguarding is embedded robustly, and all staff and learners are safe.
- Deal with assessing staff issues & back to work interviews within that team.
- Have monthly 1-2-1s with each member of staff
- Ensure that all learners’ achievement records and centre documentation for apprenticeships are completed in accordance with requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews for direct reports on an annual basis.
- Keep up to date with ESFA changes.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the Company’s quality improvement processes to improve provision.
- Ensure that the Company is compliant.
- Work closely with the Quality Co-Ordinator to identify development trends and help plan standardisation meetings.
- Consult with employers when necessary to resolve issues or assist in recruitment.
- Attend regular meetings and contribute to projects related to the job role on a company wide basis.
- Consult with all other Co-Ordinators to ensure the smooth running of the apprenticeship department.
