**Business Development Manager - Managed Services**

London

**Salary**: £60,000 - £75,000 dependant on experience + £6k Car Allowance + Uncapped OTE + Benefits

Creation of new business opportunities for Managed Services company. Business Development Manager (BDM) will utilise direct Sales, pre generated leads, marketing activity and bid processes to identify and close new business opportunities and build strongrelationships with Director level contacts.

Business is expanding due to recent acquisition so massive opportunity to grow your pipeline and establish a strong network with full backing.

Responsibilities include:

- Build a consistent sales pipeline to source new leads and qualify opportunities via phone, online communication channels and networking events
- Understand the needs of potential customers, the drivers for technology adoption, and position products and services to deliver the right solution
- Gain an in-depth understanding of competitors, which customers they are working with and ensure continued development in service offering
- Gain market knowledge to identify customers looking for a Managed Service solution, including understanding their pain-points and needs
- Cross sell service offerings when the opportunity presents itself

Skills and Experience:

- A proven track record in generating new business ranging from complex multimillion pound contracts to smaller agreements through the building of relationships and services
- Experience of new business development within a technical managed services environment required.
- Proven track record in hitting KPI's and targets set by previous employers
- Demonstrable experience in presenting complex service delivery offerings to executive level audiences
- Agile thinker, with the ability to listen to customer's pain points and create potential additional services
- Commercially minded with a strong track record in margin negotiation and management
- The ability to train and grow a complex sales team as the business expands
- Strong outgoing attitude to hunt new business
