As part of the Trust’s work to develop and sustain a culture of continual quality improvement to ensure we consistently deliver safe, high-quality care for our patients, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Directorate of Patient Safety and Improvement Team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Quality Improvement Coordinator.
The Team has grown in the past year, to support the Trust in its improvement journey with key clinical, operational, quality and transformational programmes of work.

The Quality Improvement coordinator role will work as a key member of the Patient Safety and Improvement Team to provide support to Quality Improvement initiatives and support the ongoing transformation within our services.
The Quality Improvement Coordinator will provide high quality improvement management support and manage key administration functions to facilitate a system of effective Quality Improvement (QI) training and projects across the trust.
They will have the ability to work with minimum supervision; the requirements of the role include delivering QI training, administrative support for the QI function, preparation of training materials, agendas, minutes, and following up actions as well as handle incoming queries, assessing its urgency and dealing with it accordingly as required.
As part of the trust’s quality improvement programme the post holder will support the Quality Improvement Manager in the preparation, administration and reporting of the Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) training programme.
The post holder will provide administrative support and encourage all staff at the Trust in having a voice regarding improvement ideas within the Room for improvement scheme (RFI).
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is a 500-bed district general hospital which competes on a national level in a number of areas. We are the only acute provider within a 40 miles radius and have a key role as part of the local health economy.
