Factory Operative

Salary £22,268.48 (45 hours per week) & other great benefits

Based in our Head Office at Claughton

Working in a small but established and knowledgeable team, you’ll really get satisfaction in your work. Our teams focus on gates, garage doors, industrial shutters and more, and these teams have quality at the heart of everything they do.

To manufacture and assemble company products to a high standard of quality in accordance with customer orders.

Working in the manufacturing department, you’ll be supporting the Factory Team Leaders to ensure the highest standards and rates of production.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Achieve daily production targets set out by the management team.
- Departmental quality targets are achieved and maintained.
- 6s housekeeping is maintained and score target improved upon as set out by the management team.
- To make sure manual handling procedures are followed.
- To make sure risk assessments are read, understood and followed.
- To complete quality checks fully and records are completed.
- Co-operate with line management.
- To manufacture the products right first time to minimize waste & cost to the business.
- Adhere to the company’s processes and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

- Operate in a safe manner complying with health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own safety and the safety of others
- Keep working area clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure accuracy of all stock levels at all times
