Job DetailsManaging a portfolio of claims with varying complexities within home claims and achieving the optimum outcome in line with our Hastings 4Cs values- Supporting the desktop team with claims handling activities and attending regular review meetings with the Desk Surveyors, with a view of proactively managing WIP and reducing claim lifecycles- Processing control reports and taking action to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and best practice to prevent the risk of customer detriment- Taking incoming calls to the Desk Surveyor Hunt Group, ensuring our customers receive a high level of service and support throughout the claim-
- Ensuring claims are adequately reserved and claim files are being managed with a high level of accuracy

Skills we would love you to haveExceptional customer service experience with an insurance background (ideally working within a claims environment)- Can work independently with initiative but also act as a strong team player - highly organised and able to juggle and prioritise their workload effectively- Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to build strong relationships with internal colleagues, external suppliers and customers
