Munich Re Syndicate is seeking a well organised administration professional, to join their Claims team as a Claims Adjuster.

Taking a proactive approach to the handling of claims and providing a quality claims service, which pays valid claims promptly and sets reserves at expected ultimate cost, effectively, efficiently, consistently, accurately and in a timely manner, whilst taking account of applicable regulatory requirements.
Support the claims adjusting team in the handling of inward claims.
Providing support to the IDC’s as required.
Ensure that regulatory requirements are followed.
Your job
**Responsibilities**
- Support the claims adjusting team for Syndicate and IDC’s in the handling of inward claims.
- Collaborate closely with Claims Agreement Parties, Munich claims team, loss adjusters, lawyers, brokers, underwriting teams and other third party experts as required.
- Report claims in accordance with Syndicate claims reporting requirements
- Ensure that claims are handled in accordance with Company procedures and controls, taking due note of the company’s regulatory responsibilities.
- Ensure that relevant records are made and kept in accordance with Company procedures and compliance manuals.
- Ensure the accuracy of figures held on S2000 for those claims falling within the employee’s settlement authority.
- Assist in a quarterly review of open reserves, with a view to enabling production of accurate figures.
- Attend various claims meetings and discussions as required.
- Understand and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
Understand all appropriate lines of escalation and the responsibilities of the Product Conduct Risk Strategy Group (PCRSG), Underwriting & Claims Sub Committee (UCSC), ExCo and Board for Conduct Risk.
You are required to ensure compliance with the PRA and FCA conduct rules:
