**Job Summary**
As a café staff member, your role involves providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving coffee, drinks, and food items. You will take orders, process payments, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Depending on the position, you may work as a barista making specialty beverages, as a cashier handling transactions, or assist with serving and cleaning. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and ensure customer satisfaction is essential.

1. **Barista**
- Prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.).
- Clean and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders).
- Interact with customers, take orders, and process payments.
- Keep workstations stocked with coffee, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer questions or requests.

2. **Cashier**
- Take customer orders and process payments (cash, card, or mobile).
- Ensure accuracy in orders and suggest menu items when needed.
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
- Provide general customer service and information on menu items.

3. **Server/Food Runner**
- Deliver coffee, drinks, and food items to customer tables.
- Assist with clearing tables and keeping the dining area clean.
- Provide support to baristas and kitchen staff when necessary.

4. **Cleaning/Maintenance**
- Clean tables, countertops, and floors.
- Restock supplies (napkins, sugar, straws) and empty trash bins.
- Ensure the café is tidy and well-maintained for customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable
- Knowledge of catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety practices is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varying tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
