Internal Communications and Engagement Officer needed in Wakefieldpaying £13.21 per hr PAYE - Reference:0005 85CA / 1

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis

This role will involve:

- Support the planning and delivery of effective internal communications and engagement.
- Take responsibility for specific projects or ongoing areas of work within the Communications Service and support in the development, implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of communications.
- Ensure that communications, employee consultation and engagement are used to identify clear priorities and drive change.
- Develop, write and edit content for a range of communications channels - internal and external.
- Work with communications colleagues and managers to deliver effective internal communications and staff engagement.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of communications and campaign plans for external and internal audiences.
- To participate in developing, disseminating and evaluating an ongoing employee engagement programme.
- Educated to degree level
- Have some experience with event management
- Have experience with Sharepoint

This role involves some working from home but increasingly working from the office
