CCTV Controller required for a highly prestigious site in the Oxford Road, Coventry.
**Salary**: £10.00 per hour rising to £10.50 after sucessful 12 week probation period.

Must have an SIA CCTV Licence and a Full UK Driving Licence.
CCTV Controller duties include, but are not limited to;
- Monitor the CCTV system to detect and prevent any criminal activity as well as carrying out proactive and systematic electronic patrols
- Act as the primary source of contact for customer enquiries (in person and telephone) and/or requests for out of hours first aid
- Respond to all alarms within control room (some remote alarms) and manage the inputs as per organisational instructions including following recognised escalation procedures
- Maintain accurate daily occurrence book keeping records in order to respond to any evidence gathering requirements (from internal and external agencies
- Carry out the testing of all equipment within the control room including CCTV, alarms, radios etc. and maintain accurate testing record
- Maintain the fire alarm panels to ensure they remain operational or, if requiring isolation, the appropriate recording mechanism is utilise
- Adoption of a customer first approach; Communicating at all levels within the Company
- Manage the variety of key control systems in place within the control room
- Upon the instructions of the Supervisor, contact those on the Major Incident Response Plan using the appropriate system
- To be involved in the effective security provision of site utilising CCTV systems to carry out a number of security, fire and safety related patrols at various times throughout the shift
- Reporting any issues found appropriately and in a timely manner
To succeed in this important role you will;
- Have proven experience / qualification in control room operations
- Possess good IT skills
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment is essential
- Be results oriented with a determination to make things happen
- Possess High level of drive, self-motivation and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
Be IT literate
- Experience of using radio systems and a good knowledge of the phonetic alphabet
- Have excellent communication skills
- View punctuality as important, Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be capable of working on your own initiative
- Be willing to work as part of a team of Controllers
