We have a newly created position for a Risk Assurance Manager to join the team. This is a second-line role, which sits within the Operational Risk team.

This position will undertake assurance activities to evaluate and report the extent to which the PPF is managing areas of risk and control in line with the PPF’s risk appetite and in line with requirements of the risk management framework, all in line withthe Risk Assurance Plan.

Working closely and collaboratively with all members of the Operational Risk team as well as other second line peers on a range of assurance related activity.

Our ideal applicant will have obtained, or will be studying towards, a recognised professional qualification within Operational Risk or equivalent; with experience gained working within Operational Risk and demonstrable ability to undertake assurance activity.

This position requires an individual that has good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, in both writing and verbally, risk related content to those with no specialist risk knowledge. Additionally, they will need good organisational andplanning skills, with the ability learn and assimilate the content and underlying rationale of existing risk management frameworks.
