**Regional Team Leader - Biomedical**
- Territory - covering East of England to North East London_
- £48,000 - £52,000 + £6k car allowance _
A global leading organisation specialising in providing biomedical engineering services to both the private and public sector are seeking an experienced Regional Team Leader to manage all Biomedical Operations in their assigned region.
You will be responsible for managing all field-based staff within the region as applicable. This includes ensuring engineers provide daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. Alongside supporting other Regional Team leads in achieving contract KPIs across all regions and to build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and support are provided to customers.
What will be expected:
- Recruit, induct, develop and support a team of Biomedical Engineers to deliver customer satisfaction and contract KPIs-
- Supervise the workload of all technical staff within region, allocating team members as needed to optimise productivity-
- Set goals and objectives for subordinates and provide annual assessments and feedback-
- Ensure statistical information is produced, collated and analysed regularly to evaluate the performance of the team-
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines when required-
- Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines when required-
- Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined in the company's Standard Operating Procedures-
- Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment-
- Work within the requirements and guidelines of the business' management system policies and procedures-
- Work to maintain a high standard of customer service and protect your health and safety and that of colleagues, customers and members of the public.-
- Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policiesExperience required:
- Extensive team leading experience and ideally worked within a Biomedical/Medical Engineering environment e.g., EBME Team Leader, Biomedical Engineering Team Leader, Regional Team Leader, EBME supervisor, Senior Biomedical Engineer with team lead responsibilities, Medical Engineering Team Lead, Clinical Engineering Lead etc.-
- Customer focused and confident at presenting-
- Excellent organisational and communication skills-
- Strong team management capabilities-
- Familiar with a broad range of medical/biomedical devices such as ECG's, ventilators, anaesthesia machines, syringe drivers, infusion pumps, patient monitors, diathermy etc.Package/benefits:
