An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and highly organised business development professional to join the Marketing & Business Development function of a major law firm to take responsibility for the development of the firm's Infrastructure andNatural Resources sector and also some core growth areas of the Banking practice.

The firm are market leaders in a significant number of areas within the Infrastructure and Natural Resources sector and Banking practice and the role holder will have high visibility with partners across EMEA. Reporting to the Head of BD, Banking, you willwork in close cooperation with the global Marketing & Business Development team and will have the support of a BD Executive and also the firm's expanding support team in Newcastle. The successful applicant will implement strategically aligned, client focusedand value-added marketing and business development initiatives, ensuring key global, regional and practice objectives are achieved. Acting as both the lead point of contact and ambassador for the sector and practice with the wider business and other key stakeholders,you will need to stablish a close and effective relationship with the lawyers and partners and contribute and lead on best practice. With responsibility for all aspects of planning and development of business development activity and the targeting of marketingactivity, the Business Development Manager will enjoy a broad role developing and implementing annual business plans, budget proposals and campaign plans for the EMEA region and overseeing all BD activity to ensure regional objectives are met, including businessdevelopment, client development, pitching, profile raising, marketing and communications and event management.
