**Job Title: Nights receptionist**

**Location**: Office-based role in Stanway, Colchester

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Shift hotel receptionist to support our hospitality operations during overnight hours. This is a lone-working role, ideal for someone confident working independently in a quiet environment. Shifts and hours vary weekly across Monday to Sunday.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Escalate urgent matters to on
- call or on site staff when necessary
- Running audits and compiling reports/data as needed
- Assisting guests with room bookings and handling booking amendments
- Sending invoices and following up on outstanding payments
- Organising emergency maintenance (plumbers, electricians, etc.)
- Completing administrative tasks as directed by team members, managers, and company owners
- Office upkeep, including cleaning and shredding confidential documents
- Make reservations and take payments securely and accurately
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in communication and data entry
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties as required

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Excellent phone and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with availability for night and weekend shifts
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask
- Comfortable using booking systems and online platforms (training will be provided)
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.75 per hour
