**Company Overview**

Brightskye are a well established IT support business based in Coatbridge. You will be responsible for working with their customers to provide technical support for IT hardware, networking and software. As well as being supported to complete your IT Professional Modern Apprenticeship at Level 6 and 8. They are looking for someone who is confident, polite and crazy about everything IT

**Key Responsibilities**

The IT Support Apprentice role will be supported by the Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 6 apprenticeship delivered by QA with opportunities to progress upon successful completion of course. The role responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Answering all calls customer calls in a polite and professional manner, evaluating nature of technical issues to either resolve quickly or escalate to 2nd line support
- This will involve supporting IT hardware, networking, software, and liaising with the wider team
- Creating user accounts and updating details and conducting password resets
- Performing routine IT tasks such as imaging laptops, cabling desks and setting up other IT equipment
- Performing routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly in the office as well as being proactive at identifying other issues and dealing with any problems that arise
- Monitoring customers' servers, Internet connections and 4G back up systems
- Assisting the IT team with any other duties required to support the business

**Essential Skills**
