A Rockwater barista embodies proactive and cheerful teamwork, fueled by a genuine passion for hospitality and of course coffee. Seamlessly collaborating with both the team and guests, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating the overall guest experience. This involves meticulously crafting a diverse array of hot beverages —all tailored to meet Rockwater's exacting brand specifications.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the drinks menu.
- Ensure the hot and cold drinks are presented according to Rockwater standards.
- Being aware of and following the correct allergy procedure at all times.
- Maintain bar / coffee stock levels at all times.
- Ensure coffee machine is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Minimize wastage at all times and record appropriately.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current licensing laws and ensure these are adhered to.
- Use the POS system correctly to place orders and take payment ensuring all checks are correct and all items are charged at the correct price.
- To have a thorough understanding of the F&B systems operating within Rockwater.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
- To deliver the ”Rockwater Experience” to all guests by following our Waves of Service standards.
- Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
- Maximising sales opportunities throughout Rockwater by upselling to guests where appropriate.
- To be at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and to clock in and out accordingly.
- To always be presentable and to represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard.
- Ensure to follow up any guidance or instructions given to you by management (i.e overall bar cleaning).
- To assist where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.
- At least 1 years experience barista in a high volume venue.
- Experienced in making coffees and hot drinks
