**Job Overview**
Fully Trained Barista **PART-TIME/WEEKENDS is a must**:
Join our family-run coffee roasting shop in Hove. We’re on the lookout for a friendly, skilled Barista to join our close-knit team at our independent coffee shop, where we roast our own award-winning coffee and serve up homemade food with a smile.

**What we’re offering**:

- Part-time.
- **Weekend hours: Saturdays 10am-5pm, Sundays 9am-5pm.**Additionally you will be doing one shift during the week.
- Wages from £10 to £12.70, depending on experience
- A warm, supportive environment in a family-run business.

**What we’re looking for**:

- A barista with a genuine passion for great coffee
- Someone who’s **friendly,** **reliable, and works well in a small team**:

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- **Assist with food preparation, following food safety guidelines to maintain hygiene standards.**:

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils.
- Help customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the café.
- Stay updated on menu changes and new products to provide informed assistance to customers.

**Experience**
At leat 12 months experience as a Barista.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 23 per week
