Caribbean DutchPot is an authentic, family-run Caribbean restaurant known for our vibrant atmosphere, quality food, and warm hospitality. We offer a dynamic dining experience that blends Caribbean roots with British charm. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Restaurant Server to join our front-of-house team.

**Job Summary**

As a Restaurant Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of proven experience in a busy restaurant environment who takes pride in their professionalism, initiative, and integrity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
- Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system
- Deliver meals and beverages promptly and professionally
- Check in with customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell food, drinks, and promotional offers where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas and workstations
- Handle payments accurately and process bills using the POS system
- Support team members and contribute to a positive team environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Resolve customer concerns swiftly and politely, escalating when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **1 year** of experience as a server in a dine-in restaurant
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and reliability
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong sense of integrity, punctuality, and personal accountability
- Confident, professional, and well-presented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and evenings
- **Applicants who are unavailable during busy periods such as Christmas and New Year need not apply**

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge of Caribbean cuisine (training will be provided)
- Familiarity with Square POS systems
- Experience in upselling or working events

Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
