Job Overview:
Akasaka is a fusion Korean & Japanese kitchen located in Central Milton Keynes and Northampton. We pride ourselves on our fresh ingredients and delicious sushi flavours.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or special requests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process guest payments and handle cash transactions
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of all food items

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays or plates as needed
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing menus, specials, or procedures
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and bank holiday Mondays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.00-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
