**Job title**: Maintenance Operative
**Location**: North West of England - The core area for this role includes Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle and Rossendale
**Salary**: £23,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus Serco Benefits
**Working hours**: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
You are **required to have a valid UK driving licence** for this role. You will be provided with a van for this role
Reporting to the Field operations manager, the primary function of this role is to provide building maintenance services to a designated area / or number of properties. Where there is a specialist trade, the role also supports non-trade Maintenance Operatives (MO’s) to fix faults. The role requires close working relationships with the housing teams to ensure outstanding service to the users.
Key accountabilities include regular maintenance of the properties within the portfolio, trade duties (where applicable), Health and Safety, Materials management, Garden Maintenance and work scheduling

- The will be a requirement to be on call and undertake out of hours working to agreed rosters and in accordance with the out of hours local operating procedure to provide a 24 hour and 7 day a week maintenance service
