Warehouse Operative

Full Time - Shift Worker - 40hrs per week - Working any 5-in-7

**Starting Hourly Rate £11.15 - Fixed Overtime Hourly Rate of £18.00**

**Role Summary**

To support our companies Vision & Missions, we are recruiting an ambitious **Warehouse Operative **to play a key role within our warehouse operations and activities.

To increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction, the primary day-to-day duties include picking and packing items for dispatch, processing inbound and outbound shipments, preparing, and verifying shipping documents and ensuring products are stored in the correct location and conditions. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all duties are completed according to company standards following all health, safety, & wellbeing protocols.

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. Day-to-day duties can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

**Skills/Experience/Qualifications**
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Physical strength, fitness, and dexterity.
- The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Forklift driving experience.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods.
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of a warehouse team.
- The ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Honesty and trustworthiness.
