**Role Summary**

To support our companies Vision & Missions, we are recruiting an ambitious **Warehouse Operative **to play a key team role in the manufacturing of our nutraceutical product range within our warehouse operations and activities.

To increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction, the primary day-to-day duties include picking and packing items for dispatch, processing inbound and outbound shipments, preparing, and verifying shipping documents and ensuring products are stored in the correct location and conditions.

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all duties are completed according to company standards following all health, safety, & wellbeing protocols. Your role will also include hygiene responsibilities to ensure that your working area meets the highest standards of food hygiene practices to minimise risk to product contamination.

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. Day-to-day duties can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

**Skills/Experience/Qualifications**

We are looking for pro-active and enthusiastic team player to join our forward thinking and dynamic team. Previous experience working as a warehouse operative within the nutraceutical industry or other regulated environments is desirable but not essential as significant training will be provided.

Due to the nature of the working environment, training requirements & documentation controls, a functional understanding of verbal & written English is essential.
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Current forklift licence.
- Literacy & numeracy.
- Reliability and dependability.
- Self-motivated.
- Upbeat and energised.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
