The business recruits advanced apprentices and manages their training and assessment at level 3 across a variety of job roles and business sectors within the North East.
We are recruiting a Business Administration Assessor to work closely with employers and apprentices within professional business functions with overall responsibility for directing and overseeing the development of knowledge, skills and behaviours associated with business and administration apprenticeships. Typical functions include job roles within general administration, HR, finance, sales and marketing.
High quality apprentice training and mentoring is critical for our continued success along with maintaining our excellent reputation with businesses, apprentices and external governing bodies such as Education & Skills Funding Agency and OFSTED.
- Working with employers to co-ordinate apprenticeship training activities
- Developing, compiling and delivery of apprenticeship portfolios for the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standards
- Preparing and guiding apprentices through the End Point Assessment process
**Specific responsibilities include**:
- Mentoring apprentices and developing their competence within the workplace
- Managing and administering apprenticeship standards training through employer engagement and the tracking of apprenticeship progression
- Delivering guidance and support to both apprentices and employers
- Supporting the recruitment team in interviewing and matching potential apprentices to specific apprenticeship vacancies
The Assessor will work as part of a dynamic team with other internal departments including quality, administration, funding, sales and recruitment. **Benefits**
The starting salary is £29,889 with a generous defined contribution pension scheme, along with 28 days initial holiday entitlement per year plus statutory days and a standard 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
