Kennel Assistant

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns
- Assist with the administration of medications as directed by veterinary professionals.
- Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their animals and address any questions or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Strong background in animal care and handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
