Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Please note this is a weekend position for saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
• cleaning of kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns
• Assist with the administration of medications as directed by veterinary professionals.
• Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger animals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong background in animal care and handling.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
