Reporting into a Board Director, The Bid Manager will be responsible for the overall strategy and management of bids.
Responsibilities include: -- Manage the bids and submissions process across the UK and globally
- Arrange and chair bid preparation meetings
- Manage and coordinate the production of bids, submissions and RFPs working collaboratively with directors, technical specialists, administrators and graphic designers
- Support and guide all studios globally with bids and submissions
- Write and edit bid content ensuring responses are accurate
- Manage tender sources, evaluate tender opportunities and identify leads to relevant sector heads
- Select appropriate bids in line with the company and sector specific strategies
- Contribute to the annual business planning and provide advice on how to improve bid processes/win rates
- Responsible for managing a bid coordinator

Key Skills required: -- Experience working in a similar Bid Manager role within architecture or the wider built environment
- Ability to identify the client's key requirements and bring ideas to enhance bid processes and win rates
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging content
- Good working knowledge of InDesign
