We are seeking enthusiastic Operating Department Practitioners (full time and part time preferred but will also consider Bank) to join our teams in Manchester.

Previous scrub experience is essential. Ophthalmic scrub experience is preferred but not essential as full training is available for suitably qualified OPDs with at least 2 years theatre scrub experience.

**Responsibilities for ODP**:

- To assist and scrub for ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, refractive lens exchange, laser and oculoplastic procedures.
- To administer prescribed drugs as necessary.
- To lead the clinic team in providing uncompromised patient care
- To support the Registered Manager in maintaining clinical and governance compliance
- Occasional travel to other clinics for the purpose of providing cover and/or training

**Requirements for ODP**:

- Minimum 2 years previous scrub experience required (in ophthalmics is ideal but not essential)
- Ability to communicate well in English both verbally and in writing
- Valid UK PIN/HCPC registration is essential for the role
- Must be eligible to work in the UK

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £35.00 per hour
