This position offers a great opportunity to join an established and fun, Marketing Production Agency. The company specialise in managing the print and promotional merchandise requirements for our client base, predominantly servicing the healthcare, pharmaceutical,sports and leisure sectors. The working environment is fun, dynamic and hardworking.
To secure new business through business development and marketing strategies meeting targets for growth while retaining current client bank.
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business, building, and strengthening business relations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To research, make contact and secure new business using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to build the client base and to increase revenue.
- Drive and support marketing and social media initiatives with the aim being to strengthen the brand identity, remain competitive and to drive business performance.
- To take responsibility for originating and planning campaigns to build sales and the client base in conjunction with the Managing Director.
- To develop and attend networking events in order to strengthen business relations.
- Supply sufficient/accurate information about new business and pipeline business to the MD allowing accurate forecasting to be submitted to Company Directors.
- To work with the MD to analyse and strategically improve the business.
- Work closely with the Account Director supporting the effective management of client relationships, maximising all opportunities.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of current product offering, new offerings, current market conditions and changes in the business world, new organisations, future company celebrations, anniversaries etc.
- To remain at the forefront of industry knowledge.
- Meet and exceed personal/team target.
- To deliver projects to meet defined business objectives.
**Skills and Knowledge Required**:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; verbal, listening and writing
- Driven with good sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., clients, and colleagues
- The ability to work under pressure and meet targets
