**Wolf Healthcare Birmingham** are seeking an experienced Team Leader for a 9 bed Children’s Residential home in Walsall. This role is based across two Residential homes located on the same site. This role will be supporting both children and young adults from ages 6-18 with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and complex needs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The Team Lead must ensure that service delivery and development is focused on meeting the needs of our clients, in line with legislation, industry standards and best practise.
- You must be able to work to a high standard, in often difficult situations and alongside the multi-disciplinary team.
- You must be able to lead by example, instilling key values of respect, fairness, and dignity always, regardless of the challenges that you face.
- To provide consistent high level of care and support to our service users
- Employ person centred approaches and to engage them in every area of their lives
- To create a safe and stimulating environment in which the service users can thrive
- Attend meetings and social events to ensure connections are made with external agencies.
- To offer support, guidance, and advice to the Multi
- disciplinary Teams

**Team Leader**

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
- MUST have previously worked in a Team Leader role
- You will have at least 2 years’ experience within a residential setting and ideally working towards your NVQ Level 5 Diploma
- Ideally you will also have experience of working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioural challenges and/or complex care needs
