Little Cubs Nursery is a family run nursery in the centre of Kenilworth town.

We pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard by our dedicated team of professional childcare colleagues.

As Deputy Nursery Manager you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children.

You will also gain valuable experience in the running of the nursery, by supporting the Nursery Manager to manage parent enquiries, tours and enrolments, staff rostering, and recruitment, staff performance and wellbeing.

Your roles and responsibilities as Baby Room Leader would be:

- **Performance**
- Being open, honest & reliable
- Hold a relevant childcare qualification
- Have experience of working in a baby room environment
- Be enthusiastic & committed to providing a nurturing environment for the children
- Able to lead, plan & take overall responsibility for the bab

**Outstanding Childcare**
- Being a “key person” for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
- Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
- Having a firm understanding of OFSTED requirements and the ability to lead (with support) during an inspection or regulatory visit

**Working with Others**
- Be a dedicated team player, and valuing the experience and skills of your colleagues
- Continually striving to work together to deliver thee very best care and education for the children
- Supporting colleagues with empathy and care
- Acting as mentor to apprentices and other colleagues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-40 per week

**Salary**: £23,920.00-£26,000.00 per year
