We are recruiting an IT Developer to work with a development team based in Halesowen. We are looking for an IT Developer who will work with the development team to design, develop, and maintain systems internally within the business and externally forits customer and supplier base. We are looking for someone that is up for a challenge, works well in a team but can also work on solo projects. This role will be based at the head office in Halesowen in the UK and will be reporting directly to the IT Director but will be overseen by the project lead for the development team. As a developer, you will: " Maintain and enhance the existing codebase " Implement new features across multiple projects. This includes both client and server-side features " Follow design guidelines and best practices " Work in a scrum environment " Working on products through the whole software development life cycle " Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals " Working closely with analysts, designers and staff " Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live " Preparation of training manuals for users " Maintaining the systems once they are up and running " Your expertise in current computer hardware and software " Strong communications skills " Teamworking skills " An appreciation of the bigger business picture, not just its IT requirements " Good analytical and commercial experience " Previously worked with JavaScript, HTML,CSS3 and MVC " It would be advantageous if you also had API, SQL, Cybersecurity basics We need someone dynamic, proactive, a good communicator and someone who wants to have a career with a good solid established company.
