Summary We’re looking for an senior project manager to lead a major transformation project at St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub in King’s Lynn. You’ll lead an ambitious multi-disciplinary partnership to develop a nationally important arts and heritage siteat one of the oldest working theatres in the UK.

With a vision and Business Plan in place, you’ll join the project as we move into the design and development phase, leading every aspect to delivery.

What it's like to work here You’ll lead a dynamic team consisting of partners including the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk; Norfolk Museums Service, and Norfolk Arts Service. You’ll be managed by the National Trust on behalf of the partnership and work flexibly between council offices, from home, and on site in King’s Lynn.

What you'll be doing Working with a highly engaged project board, you’ll manage the project programme to agreed scope, timescales, and budget. The project has been awarded Towns Fund funding by the Government and you’ll lead on securing match funding to deliver the BusinessCase.

You’ll be liaising with external contractors, including architects, construction contractors, conservation specialists and regulatory bodies to develop the costed design scheme. You’ll also work with specialists including a creative director to support business,interpretation, and activity planning.

You'll engage with partners, stakeholders, and the local community to consult closely as the project develops. You’ll ensure the experience is accessible and inclusive for all, and act as an advocate both internally and externally.

At the delivery phase, you’ll manage the main contract and oversee multiple work-stream to ensure they are co-ordinated according to the overall project brief and meet funders’ requirements.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

- Experience of successfully managing major, strategic, or complex projects in a multi-disciplinary environment including defining resources, leading procurement, and managing project teams. Projects will have included significant infrastructure elements
- Excellent communication, problem solving and influencing skills and confidence in liaising with and reporting to Senior Leaders up to Executive level
- Strategic thinking skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity to shape the project and experience of dealing with constantly changing horizons
- Hold a recognised project management qualification (ChPP/APM PMQ) or demonstrate the equivalent significant experience and show evidence of ongoing CPD in your career
