We have an exciting opportunity for a **Project Manager on a 6 month FTC** to support senior project manager, Asset Team in delivery of specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availabilityand allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Freebridge Community Housing is the largest provider of housing in West Norfolk, set up in 2006 to receive the transfer of homes from the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. Today, we own and manage around 7,000 homes across West Norfolk, makinga difference to thousands of customers within communities across an area of almost 550 square miles. We have an annual turnover of £30m and employ well over 200 people, including our own Property Services team. Over the last 14 years, there have been numerousachievements, not least delivering our tenants' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living. **Please note this is a 6 month FTC.** **Requirements**: - Provide weekly/monthly reports to the Senior Project manager, to include programme, financial expenditure, quality of works, customer satisfaction etc - Complete projects within specification, time and cost, looking at value engineering to ensure VFM and be responsible for inception through to completion of any allocated project - To develop a positive relationship with all contractors and clients, undertaking regular contract reviews to include all previously agreed KPI's. Any escalations to be escalated to the Senior Project Manager - Ensure that all H&S related requirement are in place prior and during the contract works. Undertake site visits and H&S site checks on a weekly basis. To minimise any risk to staff, contractors and the public. - To administer all elements of the allocated project ensuring a full record is being kept or all works, communication, drawings, finance etc. **Knowledge and Experience** - Knowledge and experience of project management within a housing industry - Knowledge and experience of managing contractors - Knowledge and experience of managing budgets within a project - Ability and willingness to make key operational decisions whilst under the constraints/pressure of tight deadlines and using own initiative with a minimum of management supervision - Strong knowledge of Health and Safety whilst on site - Strong IT skills with Microsoft Project, Excel etc **Benefits** - £39,714.08 per annum **(6 month FTC)**: - Hybrid Working - Great Pension Scheme - Full access to an Employee Assistance Program - Customer focused, team working environment - Employee discount perks - 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 30 days after 5 years)
