Maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

**Main Duties**
- Responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning, including reactive works.
- Management of a cleaning team, including recruitment, selection and development of staff.
- Provide technical training as and when required for all cleaning staff to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to agreed standard.
- Advise Manager of any potential disciplinary issues as and when issues arise.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices.
- Ensure cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules.
- Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials.
- Ensure that cleaning operatives are working the correct hours.
- Distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and repair.
- Monitor the use of materials and order stocks as necessary.
- Report all machine and building faults to line manager.
- Ensure that machinery, equipment and cleaning cupboard are kept in a clean and tidy state.
- Deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.
- Use a time and attendance system to record working hours.

- Previous cleaning experience.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
- Have good communication skills.
