**Learning Disability Support Workers required**

**Full and Part Time hours**

As a leading care agency for over 17 years supporting adults and children with Learning Disabilities / Autism and Mental Health issues, Pendle Support are looking for committed, caring people to become Full or Part Time Support Workers.

We have support work available the East Lancashire areas of Pendle, Hyndburn, Burnley / Rossendale and Blackburn.

We also have Supported Living vacancies available in the Haslingden and Nelson areas.

Previous care experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given

*£10 to £10.50 per hour with overtime available.

*NO zero hours contracts / Full or part time contracted positions available.

*Pension Scheme

*Drivers required but some non Driver positions may be available

*DBS/ISA and satisfactory references required for all staff

As part of the role you will need a smart phone (either apple or android) as we are moving away from paper reporting - this is an essential element to being successful in the role.

As a support worker you will be required to be able to work independently or as part of a team.

You will be required to assist people to access the community, support people with budgeting, shopping, going on activities and perhaps some personal care from time to time. You will work to the needs of the person being supported and their support plan, ensuring that they get the most out of you and the support being provided to them.
