An excellent opportunity to work and train in a fantastic nursery based in Liverpool. You could be working across the entire nursery and the outdoor area supporting staff and children with every day care needs and requirements as required, cleaning duties will also be required.

Vacancy description
Duties to include:
- Following appropriate policies, procedures and systems ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are met at all times
- To become involved in children’s activities so as to stimulate and extend their learning
- To demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility
- Assisting in the admission and induction of new children
- Assisting in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal and Ofsted requirements
- To take an active role in the promotion of excellent health and safety practices
- To respond effectively to any health and safety issues that may arise, and report any necessary matters
- To participate in training and meetings as requested by the Management Team

- Basic understanding of childcare
- Willing to work outdoors to support the safety of children and other staff members with Covid 19

Desired qualifications
GCSE’s or equivalents at A to C/ 7 to 4 in maths & English are desired but not essential as we’re able to support you through your Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English.
Future prospects
Future progression could be to gain employment and carry on studies to the Early Years Educator Level 3 in childcare for the successful applicant.
Training to be provided
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 functional skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Paediatric First Aid
- Own in-house training
**Salary**: From £4.30 per hour
