**The Role**

**Production Operative - International Timber - Grangemouth (FK3)**

As a Production Operative you can expect a varied role that will contribute to the output and quality of our products.

You'll be part of the International Timber team in Grangemouth. International Timber is one of more than 30+ exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and, since 1970, has been the UK's leading importer and distributor of bespoke, sustainable timber and panelproducts. With over 50 years' experience within the timber industry, this is an amazing place to start your career

**We have multiple opportunities to work either nights or days/lates. Shift patterns can be discussed at screening but all are Monday to Friday**

Once fully trained, key focus areas for the role would include;
- Safely provide support to qualified wood machinist/sawyer/treatment operators in operating designated machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Undertake general tasks within the timber processing plant at the discretion of and under the direction of the mill or yard supervisors.
- Safely operate designated mechanical handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner and achieve targets in loading, unloading, storing and handling of goods as defined by the company
- Maintain and take responsibility for housekeeping in working area
