**Job Purpose**:
To provide professional IT managed service support, inclusive of reactive and proactive support. You will bring a high degree of technical infrastructure and networking expertise in a predominantly remote support role, whilst understanding the need to travelto site as and when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Physical hardware fault analysis and repair
- Perform routine and proactive infrastructure patching
- Undertake preventative maintenance as identified
- Attend client sites and provide IT support as directed
- Write RFC’s to fix or enhance the service or to meet compliance requirements
- Implement client change process to perform changes with due care and attention
- Identify and own incident and problem tickets, ensuring SLA’s are met and tickets are regularly updated
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Create, update and issue process documentation, operations manuals, and work instructions
- Identify, own, and deliver continuous service improvement initiatives

**Skills (Essential)**
- Demonstratable experience and working knowledge of:

- Hypervisors and Virtualisation - VMWare ESXi, vCentre and vSphere
- VEEAM Backup and Replication
- Windows and Exchange PowerShell
- Antivirus platform and ecosystem - ESET
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN and VLAN’s, MPLS
- Asset and network monitoring tools such as PRTG, Lansweeper etc
- Firewall and Switch CLI configuration
- Operating systems - Windows server 2016/2019 and Windows 10
- Confident using command line interfaces

**Skills (Desirable)**
- Knowledge of Dell switching products
- Juniper routing and security products including experience of Junos OS
- Knowledge and experience of PowerShell for scripting and automation
- Module level knowledge of laptops and server hardware
- Awareness of Enterprise grade networking features/structures
- ITIL knowledge
