We are looking for a** Meetings and Events Porter** to join us at Newcastle United Football Club.

**A few things about you**

Our Back of House team is at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important that fantastic customer service is always at the forefront If you are a friendly, and approachable individual with great communication skills, this would be the perfect role for you

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our hygiene and Health and Safety practises, so it is vital that you'll champion this.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that all function suites are set as per function sheet as proactively and as far in advance as possible, accommodating changes as necessary.
- Ensure that all hospitality areas are set for match day as per package information and marketing sheets as proactively and as far in advance as possible, accommodating changes as necessary.
- Ensuring the safe and secure storage of equipment, including tables, chairs, crockery, linen, cutlery, glassware and AV equipment.
- To report any damaged, broken or dirty equipment, removing it from circulation until this can be cleaned, repaired or disposed of.
- To assist the Front of House team as required, providing the highest possible level of customer service at all times.
- Ensure safe delivery and transportation of deliveries as required.
- To ensure all areas of Front of House and Back of House are well maintained and assist with all necessary Health and Safety legislation.
- To assist with the setup of on-site AV equipment
- To assist with the ordering of equipment and resources from external suppliers as necessary.
