**JOB TITLE: LOLER FOCAL POINT**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Platform Lifting Activities/Equipment
- Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality aspects of discipline of work.
- Adhere to and Implement Petrofac Golden Rules of Safety.
- Promote Petrofac Values.
- Adhere to Petrofac Code of Business Conduct Policy.
- Able to carry out all Fabrication and Construction Activities identified in Petrofac Construction & Commissioning work pack safely and Right First Time.
- Control all platform lifting activities.
- Ensure all lifting procedures comply with LOLER Regulations 1998
- Promote Company Lifting Procedures.
- Support all aspects of decommissioning activities. Liaise with onshore decommissioning engineering team.
- Attend daily briefings with onshore engineering team where the job scope allows.
- Control Certification for all lifting equipment /accessories.
- Check Rigging Lifting Personnel’s Competency and record.
- Create Quality lift plans method statements and risk assessments.
- Approve contractor Lifting Plans.
- Manage Platform Rigging Loft requirements i.e., 6 monthly color code change.
- Carry out weekly inspections On Lifting equipment.
- Sign lifting equipment in & out of rigging loft.
- Adhere to company Quarantine Procedures for defective equipment.
- Petrofac Onshore / Offshore Supervisor.
- Petrofac Offshore Project Safety Officer.
- Petrofac Lifting TA.
- Be fully conversant with Petrofac Project OE&O HSEQ plan.
- Be fully aware of Petrofac and Client Safety Targets.
- Be fully aware of Project Construction Work pack Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Be fully conversant and compliant with Petrofac BMS Procedures.
- Ensure all lifting and rigging activities are carried out in conjunction with construction work pack estimates, reporting any anomalies etc. that would have a cost implication.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Checkable relevant years working history.
- Offshore knowledge and experience.
- ECITB NVQ Level 3 - Moving Loads.
- OPITO Lifting Operations Stage 4 (Competence Assessment).
- OPITO Banks-man slinging Stage 4 (Competence Assessment).
- 5 years minimum Supervisory Experience.
- ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads.
- ECITB Technical Competence Validation Test (TAP01).
- Develop Quality Lifting Plan’s /procedures using PC.
- Rigging loft Examiners Cert.
- Computer literate - MS Office Software Packages.
- Technical Qualification HNC, Diploma, standard or equivalent.
