The Cotswold Canals Trust is a charity run by volunteers from the local community, giving time and energy to save our heritage and improve our local environment for the benefit of everyone.
The charity is operated from its base in Stroud, Gloucestershire where it has a small team helping to make sure the organisation is managed and administered effectively.
CCT’s Office Administrator will play a vital role keeping the office efficiently running. You will be the face of the organisation for donors, volunteers, members and customers working closely with a small but friendly team from our office based in Stroud.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Delivery of a consistent and efficient administration service, demonstrating time management and prioritisation skills.
- Updating volunteer and donor contact management systems and maintaining files.
- Assisting with membership queries.
- Cash reconciliation and banking.
- Welcoming visitors to the office.
- Process incoming and outgoing post.
- Keeping the office and Visitor Centres equipped with leaflets, stock and office supplies.
- Assist with bookings for talks and boat trips.
**Skills and qualifications**
To be successful in this role as Administrator you must have:
- A good telephone manner and communication skills to be able to provide excellent customer service.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Be computer literate with Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have the ability to organise self and others.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
