**Job recruiting for** Accounts Assistant **Reporting to** Commercial Director **Location** Hertfordshire, office is in the EN postcode (driving license is essential due to the location of the office) **Overview** Incorporated in 2016 following many years in the industry, the Managing Director has built the business to a very respectable standard. Situated within the Enfield postcode, the turnover has been growing aggressively and the team have expanded alongside thegrowing business, which has now reached a stage where an Accounts Assistant is required. The Finance Director joined on a part-time basis last July, joining a team of 10 office staff and an additional 20 in the field. Turnover is projected to exceed £2.5mat the end of the current year. The business has accreditations with the industry bodies. More detail about the business can be discussed at interview stage. **Aim of the Role** The aim of the role is to support the Commercial Director in processing the day-to-day financial transactions of the businesses, feeding into the monthly accounts. This role will also be to assist the business in migrating to a new leading software package,which the Accounts Assistant will likely take a leading role in. **Essential Skills** - Experience in an office environment, preferably SME. - Good with numbers and willingness to learn new skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in data entry and record keeping - Good IT literacy and Excel skills - Ideally, experience in a small team (you will be the main accounts function) - Able to work alone - A pro-active, "can do" attitude with exceptional teamwork **Additional Information** - You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role - Education to a higher-level desirable - References will be required at the end of the recruitment process - Job Type: Part-time (hours to be discussed at interview) - Salary: £15,000+ (to be discussed at interview) - Monday to Friday (hours to fit in with Commercial Director - to be discussed) **Experience required**: - Accounting: 5 years’ experience (preferred, 2 years minimum) - Working in a small team, preferably SME business - Experience with accounting software - Located near to EN Postcode and hold full UK driving license
