We are recruiting for a** Graduate Trainee Accountant**, to join the Hill Group team, **based at our Power Mill Lane head office in Waltham Abbey**.

As a Graduate Trainee Accountant with Hill Group, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting and insights to ensure the successful and efficient completion of projects. Working alongside our accomplished Finance team, **you will also be responsible for but not limited to**:

- Developing financial models to support decision making
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Liaising with teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Keeping up to date with financial regulations and industry trends
- Any other duties as requested

**Skills, Experience and Attributes you need to succeed at Hill**:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, achieving either a 2:1 or above (_NB_depending on other factors/circumstance, marginally lower grades may be considered)_
- Ability to work on own initiative and to timescales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations, systems, and software’s (beneficial)
- Work experience/knowledge in the construction industry is an advantage but not required
