The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, are looking for a skilled Test Architect to define and manage the requirements for Test Equipment and Test Specifications whilst supporting their deployment into the factory; this position is based at theStevenage site.

**What you'll get to do as a Test Architect**:

- Responsible for managing the Test Equipment requirements
- Responsible for the Test Equipment design trades between Cost, Scope and Time.
- Actively led the development of the Test Equipment (hardware and software) to meet all project requirements.
- Support the more comprehensive project to manage Test System obsolescence to optimise upgrade programs.
- Interface with and manage customer expectations throughout the development process
- Technically manage internal & external suppliers for delivery of Test Equipment packages to time, cost, quality, and performance requirements.
- Main point of contact between the project team, TE supplier and US Customer.
- Support the broader project to manage and resolve Test Equipment changes and issues.

**What we're looking for**:
**Ideally educated to degree level with substantial experience of Test, Electrical and Electronic engineering, ideally including at least one of the following**:

- Digital electronics and microprocessor systems.
- Analogue electronics.
- Power Electronics.
- Test Equipment Design.

**Good understanding of**:

- Project Management and planning.
- Cost and budget control.
- Diverse and conflicting Stakeholder Management.
- Ability to technically manage internal and sub-contract activities.
- Ability to influence managers and other stakeholders across the company.
- Determination and desire to succeed.
- Strong interpersonal and well-developed communication skills (written & verbal).

**More about the role**:
MBDA's relationship with the UK military spans back over 70 years. They have delivered countless landmarks in defence engineering, supplying vital defence capability to meet the needs of the armed forces over land, sea, and air.

This role is based at MBDA's headquarters in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop. Training and development are offered to all employees.
