Job Summary:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Chief Commercial Officer with 10-15 years banking experience in customer acquisition and retention as well as revenue generation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will drive development and execution of a commercialisation strategy for Ribbon. The CCO will be in charge of building the commercialisation infrastructure needed, including structuring and growing the organisation to drive market adoption of the company’s products and be responsible for revenue growth within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the CEO and be responsible for developing commercial and business development strategies that are optimised for both short-term results and long-term strategy.
- Leading and scaling the Sales, Business Development and Customer Success teams
- Creating accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company
- Develop and manage sales & marketing operating budgets and sales strategies across key market segments to ensure that the company identifies and optimises a clear path to aggressive growth
- Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated targets and budgets.
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities and provide analysis
- Generating and qualifying new leads and using different approaches to penetrate prospective accounts
- Building a high performing sales team to execute end to end sales including outreach, pitching, getting alignment, negotiation, closing deals and implementation
- Ensuring a robust after sales process to deliver strong customer engagement
Skills & Requirements:

- 10+ years relevant experience in the Banking /Financial Services Sector.
- Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Strong proven track record of success in a senior sales/commercial leadership role including prior experience as a Chief Commercial Officer
- Successfully built, scaled and led high performing sales teams in banking.
- Experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships
- Goal oriented and possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on

**Salary**: £100,000.00-£125,000.00 per year
