Netwirking Recruitment are working with a national client based in the IT sector who are looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join their growing group of businesses.

**As a Senior Service Desk Engineer you will**:

- Work with the 1st line engineers on movement of escalated tickets
- Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.
- Create documentation on resolutions for issues
- Direct unresolved issues to the next tier of support or the Team Leader.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

**Skills and Experience**:

- Troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 environments
- TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot Identity Management Active Directory, Azure AD
- Ability to troubleshoot Exchange and Exchange Online issues.
- VPN knowledge (IKEv2, L2TP, SSL, Site to Site)
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge on terminal services (RDS or Citrix)
- Troubleshooting of Backup infrastructure (Veeam, Backup Exec, iland)
- Knowledge of antivirus solutions and deployments (Microsoft Defender, mVision, Carbon Black)

**About you**:

- Prior experience within a service desk or similar role
- A logical and thorough approach to resolving incidents and requests
- Exceptional customer service skills with experience in supporting remote problems.
