The Senior Business Systems Analyst role is based within Digital Solutions in our Babcock Naval Nuclear business. You will form part of an amazing, diverse and inclusive team of talented people that provide specialist knowledge management and technical expertiseon a range of interesting products, technologies and collaborative solutions that support both our internal and external Royal Navy customers.

We are looking for a personable and professional Senior Business Systems Analyst with proven working experience in modelling business information and using design tools. You'll be adaptable, un-phased by changing priorities, actively seeking new knowledge andenjoy a challenge with a full-on schedule of varied and interesting projects such as working with future submarines for the Royal Navy.

As part of the Digital Solutions team within Babcock Naval Marine you'll form part of an amazing, diverse, and inclusive team of talented people that provide specialist knowledge management and technical expertise on a range of interesting products, technologiesand collaborative solutions that support both our internal and external Royal Navy customers.

**What will you be doing?**
- Leading medium to large scale projects within a variety of transformation programmes delivering solutions for all aspects of complex asset management.
- Delivering detailed requirements, solutions and functional specifications.
- Modelling business information and delivering system design documentation.
- Developing strong customer relationships based on confidence and trust.
- Representing Babcock by attending project working groups.
- Collaborating with the business architecture team in the development of business architecture, design and documentation.
- Supporting the bid process and response to customer Statement of Work (contribution to Data Item Descriptions, budget, schedule).

**The experience you'll bring**
- An education to degree level in an IT related discipline or, proven working experience.
- Detailed requirements capture and requirements management.
- Experience of the full SDLC within waterfall and agile software delivery projects.
- Modelling business and information systems - using appropriate notation within the context of structured Architecture Frameworks (e.g. Archimate, BPMN, TOGAF, NAF, etc).
- **Desirable**: Knowledge/experience of Supportability Engineering and/or the Naval support enterprise.
