We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to provide support to the Procurement department. You will be carrying out general administrative duties and other tasks to support the Procurement team.

The position holder will be based at our site in Annesley (NG15 ODR), you will have the opportunity to work remotely, up to 3 days per week (Subject to Business Requirements). The role will offer a salary range of between 25k-27k (DOE).

Main Responsibilities
1. Coordinate
- Assist the Procurement Department with tender process tasks
- Take ownership of the Procurement shared mailbox to allocate workload to relevant team members
- Liaise with suppliers to assist the team in obtaining market intelligence

2. Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain Procurement related trackers and administration ensuring that contracts, renewals schedules and general documentation are recorded and stored in line with the department’s framework.
- Ensure documents and agreements are compliant, data is accurate and price lists are up to date
- Carry out audits on key approved suppliers
- Maintain a selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing

3. Preparation
- Prepare and produce Purchase orders ensuring that order requests are sent to the correct suppliers. Preparing spend reports.
- Source and provide market intelligence, assist the Procurement department with RFP preparation, review of ITT submissions and contract launch
- Plan and execute project timelines for assigned categories with guidance from the Procurement Manager
- Generate reports, collating data, and preparing presentations and brief outs

4. Resolve and Build
- Ensure that any order issues are resolved, and both the suppliers and our internal staff are informed of any issues and what the remediation will be.
- Provide excellent customer service on behalf of the Procurement Function.
- Build strong relationships with key Yusen staff who are SME’s in the appropriate categories. Build strong relationships with our supply chain.
- Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
- Managing supplier relationships and service delivery, ensuring issues are addressed promptly with the suppliers, seeking a first-time resolution

Strong organisational skills
Excellent IT skills in terms of using Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
